Waseda Student Dispatch Service for Returnees and International Students
In the 2024 academic year, Waseda University accepted the largest number of international students in Japan. Aiming to foster an exchange where students can learn not only English but also other subjects and essay writing from the returnee and international students enrolled at this very Waseda University, we established Waseda Windy Mentors.
Furthermore, please be assured that you can use our service with peace of mind, as it is operated and staffed (or "involved in hiring") by current Waseda University students who are returnees.
How to Register as a Student

Steps from Registration to Tutoring Start

Once a week, we will send an email to the teachers containing a table summarizing the gender, grade level, nearest station, and desired subjects/content of the registered families to teachers.

Teachers will reply to us with their preferred families, and we will then provide those families' contact information to the teachers.

Later, the teachers will contact the families directly to arrange and adjust the date and time of the trial lesson between both parties.

After the trial lesson, if you decide to continue with the tutoring, please contact us at chi.aiden.cago@gmail.com.

Please communicate between the family and the teacher to begin tutoring. (Regarding changes to tutoring dates due to mutual convenience, etc., please arrange these directly between both parties. You do not need to report such changes to us.)
Furthermore, we will not intervene beyond the absolute minimum necessary regarding the teachers' teaching methods and so forth.
Additionally, should the family and teacher decide to purchase new textbooks or other materials, we kindly ask that the family bear the cost.
Pricing System
1.The trial lesson is free. However, all transportation fees (up to ¥1,000 for a round trip), including those for the trial lesson, should be paid to WWM's designated account.
2.If you decide to continue with tutoring, a service usage fee of ¥30,000 will be charged.
3.At the end of each month, you will pay (total tutoring hours) × (hourly rate) + (that month's transportation fees) to the designated account.
Please note that we will inform you of the designated account details via email once the trial lesson is confirmed.
Regarding the family's transportation fee burden, we have set a maximum of ¥1,000 per round trip (e.g., if a round trip costs ¥1,300, the family's transportation fee burden will be ¥1,000).
